The kids, all on their own, decided to build a temple on Mine Craft. It was nice to hear them talk to each other about what it should look like. They made the temple, the Angel Moroni on top, a reflection pool, and a visitor's center.

Our 2nd Honeymoon Part 1
I didn't take too many pictures on my phone, so I will have to post more when I get Jon Mark's phone. We had a blast. Words cannot express how much we enjoyed our couples retreat to Utah. We retraced all of our familiar spots. We went to Park City and rode the Alpine Slides. We hiked Squaw Peak and the Y. We toured temple square. It was four days of utter bliss with my best friend. We enjoyed it all so much. I actually got choked up as we landed in Provo. Weird, I know, but I was just so happy to be there with Jon Mark all to myself.
Here's where we kissed for the first time.
Here's my apartment.
This is Jon Mark reenacting scaling the balcony to kiss me.
This is me reenacting walking the wrong way home after my first kiss.
DT was torn down and these new beautiful buildings were put in their place. BYU is certainly a gorgeous campus.
BYU campus.
I'll post the other pictures later. I strongly recommend going on a couples trip. We acted like newly weds. I will never grow tired of Jon Mark's company. He is my everything.
Bounce U
We went to Bounce U as part of our staycation this summer. The kids loved it.
Caleb was trying to give kisses to new friend he made. I love his open mouth kisses, but I'm not sure this kids mom would.
4th of July
Papa Mac did his yearly 4th of July tradition of exciting (illegal) fireworks, and made me the best homemade ice cream. We went swimming and had a BBQ.
Mercedes didn't like the loud fireworks so she was pouting when I took this picture.
Joshua wouldn't let me delete his "zombie" picture. He thought it was so funny.
Hannah and Evie didn't want to hold still for very long.

Family Reunion
We had a Haws family reunion recently. It was a lot of fun. My grandma brought whatever earthly possessions she had left and people got to take what they wanted. I wanted these things. I let my cousin take the picture and mission papers (my grandpa carried them in his wallet with him during WWII). I really wanted them, I guess because they are an intimate look inside their marriage. But I also really wanted the trunk. It was faded blue and so I redid it white and black. I like how it turned out. I wish I knew how old it was.
Mermaid Mercedes Surprise Party
I threw Mercedes a surprise party and it was a hit. It was super loud, super crazy, but I think everyone had fun. Mercedes gave the best reaction for her bike that we got her. She's seven years old and tells me that she can't wait to be 8 so that she can get baptized.
Lindsay had her play at her house to "spend quality birthday time" with Elena. Then, when she brought her home for dinner, we surprised her.
The kids got mac and cheese, the adults got chicken salad sandwiches.
We played the limbo and did the slip and slide.
We had water balloons and water on the trampoline.
It was a house full of kids and I think next time, we won't invite so many...
