May 2025

Hannah had a class play.

Mother's Day with my children. They made me a yummy breakfast!

This is Joshua's good friend's brother. Taylor's brother, Barrett.

Subbing has its perks. I get to see my kids and my nieces. This was on Daisy's fieldtrip.

I can't remember if I already posted these or not.

Our youth group got to go to an indoor park. The kids had a blast!

"May the 4th be with you" was a big deal this year.

I'm not a huge fan of these, I have painted better, but I am recording so I can look back and see progress.

Luke had a birthday party at Papa's house

Hannah had a major crush on this boy, Luke.

Dad spoiled the kids while I was gone visiting the Owen's

I went to Michigan with my parents to see Lance get baptized. On our way to the airport, we stopped by the Nortre Dame campus.

I took up sourdough bread making because the dr thinks Mercedes may have celiac's.

April 2025

About five or six years ago, I started an Easter tradition where I paint a new Easter picture and write a poem. This year, I painted probably 12 tombs to hand out to friends and family. I'll probably make copies next time.

A new tradition is having a special Easter dinner. We eat a middle eastern meal, we listen to Risen and we share a scripture. I go in with no expectations because I want our family to just enjoy being together. I try to make it special, but I also try to roll with the punches so that it is a good experience for everyone. I don't want my family looking back on these traditions and thinking that their mom was always stressed out. That would defeat the whole purpose. My goal is a nice evening, where we talk about Christ and celebrate His resurrection.

The Easter pageant is a tradition...

Hannah's trio team one every competition this year. She was even offered a spot in Hollywood for a professional dance class.

Luke took a nasty fall on the scooter. He hit a patch of uneven pavement and his face took the brunt of the fall.

Hannah turned 12 this year!

Luke made the best of a bad situation. He was placed in social dance and he owned it!
